Next week is National Careers Week and, as ever, Malet Lambert School has organised a host of activities to stimulate thought about future career prospects amongst our students.
During 3rd - 7th March, students across the year groups will be involved in talks, visits, information fairs and activities.
From taster courses with Hull Training, to presentations from industry specialists, there is plenty for students to engage with.
Later in the week, colleges and employers from the area will be attending a Careers Fair to give students more information on post-16 study and future careers.
Business champion and maths teacher, Mrs Shaw, is hoping that this year’s event will be as successful as previous years’.
She said, “We have really solid links with industry at Malet Lambert so we’re able to put on a great variety of events over the next week.
“Feedback was excellent last year, so we’re hoping that students will be equally as enthused this time around.
“The aim is to get everyone thinking about the options that are available to them in the future and maybe to start giving their chosen career path some serious thought.”
