As part of a Sky Sports initiative that aims to develop students' self esteem, communication skills and teamwork, a group of Year 7 pupils are holding a special Sports Summer Fayre on Wednesday 8th July.
There will be various stalls including hook a duck, coconut shy, wheel of fortune, darts, tombola, teachers in stocks and a penalty shootout.
Staff and students have also been asked to donate cakes and goodies for a tuck shop stall.
All money raised from the event will be donated to Dove House Hospice.
The rest of Year 7 will be attending over period 3, and all other staff and students will be encouraged to pop along and take part over lunchtime.
A special guest will be swinging by to open the fayre. Ben Pipes, former GB volleyball team captain, is a Sport Mentor for Sky Sports: Living for Sport and will be in school all day showing classes how every school subject is vital for sport.
