BBC Look North interviewed Year 11 pupils about exam stress and revision techniques today.
It showcased the hard work Year 11’s are doing and the different methods used to help tackle anxiety about exams.
Malet Lambert have been involved in the Pilot Project, part of the Headstart Pilot scheme, which is targeted at helping younger pupils adjust to secondary, and can support them when resolving issues, tackling obstacles or setting goals.
In February, The National Lottery Fund, headed by the Chair of England Lottery Committee, visited mentors to learn about the school mentoring scheme.
Year 11 pupil, Elise, with the help of Estelle Osborne, who works with Peer Mentors, created postcards, with tips on how to tackle exam stress.
The postcards created by Elise have now been sent to different secondary schools across Hull, in hopes of helping other pupils struggling with exam stress.
