In just a couple of weeks, GCSE German and History students will be travelling to Berlin for six days to visit sites of historical importance and experience German culture.
The trip has been organised by Mrs Alison Dent, Head of Humanties who explains the aims of the excursion.
She said, “GCSE History pupils will have the opportunity to visit some of the most significant sites in Berlin connected with their study of the Third Reich and the Cold War.
“For GCSE German students, they will experience German life, history and culture and will have the chance to practise their communication skills by interacting with locals in German.
“In addition, our students can also pack in a little bit of Christmas shopping at the local shops and vibrant Christmas Market in Berlin.”
The students are due back in the last week of term, so we look forward to posting some of the fantastic photos from their trip!
