Malet Lambert School has a commitment to promoting good attendance amongst pupils and last term showed that our students are keen to follow suit.
Over 290 students were awarded a certificate for 100% attendance for September through to January, and another 820 received certificates for having over 96% attendance.
Pupils who had increased their attendance percentage the most were awarded certificates for Most Improved Attendance.
All eligible students were entered into a prize draw, and three students were the lucky winners of shopping vouchers for their efforts - see pictured right, Samantha, Jessica and Adam.
Adam said, "I totally didn't expect to win this. I enjoy coming to school, so to win something for just doing what I do everyday is great and a big bonus."
Assistant Headteacher, Stephen Logan, commented, "Solid attendance is a key trait in a good employee and is something that employers will look for. Maintaining these good habits at school is essential for future working life."
Students below were awarded their certificates for Most Improved Attendance - meaning they had worked hard to attend consistently over the last term and bring their attendance rate up to a good level.
