Hull City Council have introduced healthy school meals which represent good value. All meals meet the latest government’s food standards. Secondary children may choose from a range of healthy food and drink items which are individually priced. Secondary children who qualify for free school meals can spend up to £1.80 per meal. School meals are subsidised by the Council and the above charges are amongst the lowest in the country.
In addition children must attend a school within Hull on a full time basis up to the age of 16 years or attend a sixth form school.
