By Year 7 pupils Emily and Elise
Last week was careers week. It is where we learn about different careers and money. We interviewed Mia (a year eleven student). She quoted "we were told to so a design and it was either a storage unit for inside or a bird house outside I choose a bird house my Grandad inspired me not school." She has decided to do magnetic fruit so children can actually mess with the fruit because some children like to change things.
Later that day, we interviewed Katelyn. She is a member youth parliament and she started when she was thirteen in year eight. She quoted "I love to help in the community and listen to other people’s backgrounds." She gets a say in what she thinks is best for the community. She also quoted "I also help people who suffer with mental health."
