Over the half term break, Malet Lambert pupils took part in our annual ski trip to Montafon, Austria.
On 10th February, a group of 40 pupils in Years 8 to 11 and five staff set off from school in the afternoon and spent their first evening settling in to their rooms after the long journey.
Throughout the rest of the week, pupils were divided into different groups based on the skiing ability, from confident skiers to absolute beginners.
Between morning and afternoon skiing sessions pupils and staff enjoyed their lunch and evening meals at the restaurant at the resort. Nights were also filled with fun group activities such as quizzes, bowling and trips to the nearby ice cream parlour.
Prizes and certificates were also presented to pupils for a variety of rewards including most improved skier.
The week long trip ended, after one last morning of skiing, with pupils and staff returning safely to Hull. Exhausted, but with plenty of new, fun memories.
