The Drama curriculum at Malet Lambert provides students with the opportunity to unlock their creative skills and develop the confidence needed to achieve their aspirations. Students will work in an active and practical manner within the two spacious, modern and fully-equipped studios.
Facilities
The Drama department is located at the heart of the school and has two purpose-built studios with sprung flooring, portable theatrical lighting and Q-Build modular staging. The space allows students to be active, collaborate and think creatively. Students will be provided with a free and safe space where they can feel confident to:
- Use their imaginations and be creative
- Share their ideas with their peers
- Work practically with others
The two purpose-built, modern and large Drama studios used to provide the space for students to move and work collaboratively. The dividing wall between the studios can be removed to create a flexible performance space in which students can present their work. Floor to ceiling mirrors are installed to allow students to create innovative dance work and choreography.
