Jaime Pearce

I was born and raised in Lincolnshire, studied to become a teacher in Scarborough and moved to Hull when I got my first teaching job at Neasden Primary School. I am now Head of School at Longhill Primary School where I have worked for 16 years. I am passionate about children’s education and I look forward to working closely with the staff and children at Malet Lambert.
Martin Hegarty

Martin moved to Hull over 25 years ago. He works for Ineos at Saltend as the laboratory manager. Martin’s background is science, and he studied chemistry at Queen’s University of Belfast.
Although new to Malet Lambert School, he was chair of governors at a local primary school for several years.
Lyndsey McClements
Governor
Lyndsey has two children who attend Malet Lambert and is keen to ensure that they continue to enjoy learning in a welcoming environment.
Working in the voluntary sector for most of her career, mainly in the fields of substance misuse and mental health, Lyndsey is currently employed as a senior manager with a local mental health charity. In the past, she has volunteered in the classroom at her children’s primary school and helped with extra-curricular activities through the Children’s University.
Lyndsey has returned to college to pursue a qualification in Human Resource Management in order to better understand how to support workforce wellbeing.
Lora Webster
Governor
Lora has two children who attend Malet Lambert. She grew up and went to school in Hornsea but studied to become a social worker at the University of Lincoln in 2001.
After working for various organisations in Hull including Humber Sport and the Hull KR Trust, Lora returned to university in 2017 to retain as a primary teacher at the university of Hull. Lora currently works at Thanet Primary School in the role of Assistant Head and recently became a qualified SENCo.
Amy Norman
Staff Governor
Amy is the Head of PSHE at the school. She grew up in North East Lincolnshire and moved to Hull over ten years ago to study English and History at the University of Hull. She really enjoyed living in the city so continued on at the university to do her teacher training. She started working at Malet Lambert over six years ago. The community means so much to her and she wanted to ensure that every young person at Malet receives the very best from their education during their time with the school.
Leanne Race-Wordworth
Staff Governor
Leanne is a Head of House at the school. Leanne knew from a young age she wanted to teach, following this passion, Leanne completed her teacher training in Ormskirk and returned home, to Hull, for her first teaching job 15 years ago. Leanne has previously fulfilled the role of Head of English, but always loved the pastoral element of her role. Leanne started working at Malet Lambert 6 years ago. Leanne feels privileged to be part of the community and wants to ensure each young person is able to leave the school successful, educationally, emotionally and socially.
